Eleaf iWu AIO Pod System Starter Kit Review

Pod Mods have slowly started dominating vape sales as the technology gets better and better. The latest pod mod to cross our desks was the Eleaf iWu AIO Pod System. My first encounter with this device was at ECC at Ontario, CA earlier this month.

Ok, so there you go! One thing that instantly jumps out is the 700mah built-in battery. One of those things that makes you go hmm. 700mah in effect is all day vape quality. The devices lack of needing to carry around a charge makes it already a pro in my book. Below is an example of how the charge levels look.

Being that charging and on the go vaping is the primary thing we need improvements we’ve focused on that. Next would be the design, this rib caged design is a metal sleeve. The sleeve can be interchanged day to day to match your mood or outfit. While the base body comes in multiple color options it’s nice to have a custom option.

As you can see in the image above, there are a ton of color combinations you can achieve.

So, vaping, how does it vape? While the pods contain 2ml capacity they aren’t reinventing the wheel. The design is pretty familiar to that of the icare with different fill ports. One of my biggest cons is within those fill ports. Its easy missing the notch lock and having dribbles of your liquid leak. The flavor? Impressive, yet requires a little bit of break-in time to get the real targeted experience you are going for. With a 1.3 ohm internal coil these are not cloud machines but they are tailored for flavor. The airflow is not fully restrictive but not airy either, somewhere down the middle.

Ideally Eleaf will rework its pods so they can be bigger contenders in this space. Dollar for dollar it should rank among the top five pod mod options out there.
